Multi-Database Support

Firelize supports multiple databases within a project, making it simple to switch between production, staging, or regional datasets.

Database Discovery

When you start Firelize or add a new Firebase project, all available databases are automatically detected. If you create a new named database while Firelize is running, open Settings, go to the Projects tab, and click Refresh for the affected project. Firelize will re-fetch the databases, and the new one becomes selectable right away.

Note

Enterprise databases with MongoDB compatibility are not fully supported by the Firebase SDK yet and therefore will not appear in Firelize.

Selecting a Database

When a project has multiple databases, a selector appears next to the project picker. All operations are then executed against the currently selected database.
