Deleting Data

Firelize lets you delete anything from a single document to an entire collection with all of its nested data.

Caution

Deletions are permanent. Once a document is deleted, it cannot be recovered unless you have a backup or export. We strongly recommend enabling Point-in-Time Recovery for your database.

Deleting Single Documents

To delete a single document, open its context menu and select Delete → Non-Recursive. After confirming, the document will be deleted immediately.

Deleting Collections and Recursive Structures

To delete a collection or a document with nested collections, you need to start a delete job. You can do this by selecting Delete from a collection’s context menu or Delete → Recursive from a document’s context menu.

The workflow is similar to Exports, Imports & Transfers: define one or more paths, optionally use queries to filter documents, and then run the job.
