Using the Emulator

Firebase automatically detects the emulator and the current project when it is running. If your Firebase Emulator uses the default settings, you only have to connect your project and the emulator will be detected automatically.

Emulator UI Required

The Emulator UI has to be running on the default port (4000) or the port you have set in the settings for Firelize to be able to detect the Firebase emulator.

Changing the Emulator UI Port

The Emulator UI is running on port 4000 by default. If you are using a different port, you can change it in the settings.

1. Open the settings by pressing CMD/CTRL + ,.
2. Enter the port in the Emulator UI Port field on the General tab.
